had been expected to report for mandatory minicamp, although voluntary OTAs jumped. Monday’s news confirms they will be on the area this week.
How much the Joneses will do on the field is another question. Falacons trainer Dan Quinn told The Atlanta since they rehab foot injuries that both Deion and Julio Jones won’t participate in drills.
Atlanta brass expressed optimism last week that deal scenarios for the flock of Falcons will get dealt with at any point.
The Falcons have until July 15 to hammer out a long term deal with franchise-tagged Jarrett. The defensive tackle already signed his franchise tender, meaning he would have been subject to fines if he skipped compulsory work (gamers not having signed their labels wouldn’t be subject to penalties ).
Beasley and Deion Jones either input the last seasons of the rookie contracts.
Julio Jones has two years left on his deal, however, the group is working toward a new contract that would re-align his cover with the cap of the receiver market (currently 11 wideouts earn more annually than Jones).
