Galway football manager Kevin Walsh steps down

Galway have been on the lookout for a brand new football manager after the resignation of Kevin Walsh on Tuesday.
He former manager took charge of their Tribesmen for five seasons, overseeing real progress in that moment. The Westerners attained Division 1 position picked up two Connacht names and consolidated that position during his reign.
They bridged a 17-year gap by selecting up a championship triumph in Croke Park and reaching an All-Ireland.
They had been unable to achieve the Super 8s this year after a provincial reduction to Roscommon and also a qualifier defeat to Mayo.
There’ll not be any lack of high-profile titles linked to the function, and the county is well placed to compete at the table in the next several years, together with current victory at club and provincial on a national point.
