Cian O’Neill appointed as coach of the Cork footballers

The Cork footballers will be joined by former Kildare manager Cian O’Neill .
The Moorefield guy, that has worked with the Mayo and Kerry footballers, as well as that the Tipperary hurlers, will join Ronan McCarthy’s backroom team.
O’Neill departed from his native county Kildare this summer.
Cork are on an upward trajectory at present, having enjoyed a campaign that is positive 2019 by reaching the Super 8s. Additionally they scooped All-Ireland titles at U20 and minimal, and there’s an optimism at the Rebel County they are moving in the ideal direction.
Laois GAA have announced that Eddie Brennan will continue at the helm of the the O’Moore County’s hurlers. The Kilkenny native led the side in his first year in charge to some Joe McDonagh Cup name and an All-Ireland quarter-final look.
As expected that Mike Quirke will take control of the Laois footballers it was confirmed.
